SARAJEVO, Feb 25 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs have shut down the Visoko -
Sarajevo blue route in retaliation for UNPROFOR refusing to supply
them with 20 litres of fuel daily. Serbs were after the fuel to
'control the route'.
A statement from UNPROFOR headquarters in Sarajevo said that
no official information had reached Pale on this. It also said that
Serbs had refused to agree to lists of travelers who were supposed
to use the route today.
The blue route through Sarajevo airport was presently
functioning without difficulty, but Serbs also threatened to close
these routes if travelers continued to carry large quantities of
food into the city, the UNPROFOR Sarajevo spokesman said.
