SARAJEVO, Jan 25 (Hina) - Troops loyal to Moslem separatist Fikret
Abdic and Croatian Serb rebels from the UNPA has been trying to
advance through the defence lines of the Bosnian Army's Fifth Corps
in western Bosnia for 25 days in spite of the cessation of
hostilities agreement.
Abdic's and Serb forces had tried to break through the defence
lines from Zeljevo to Bihac and to advance from Velika KLadusa
toward Pecigrad and Vrnograc, the 5th Corps headquarters chief-of-
staff, Brigadier Mirsad Selmanovic, said to Sarajevo radio.
Bosnian Army troops repelled attacks only when it was
necessary, in order to hold the cease-fire. But if the aggressors'
attacks continued, they would be forced to undertake a decisive
action, according to Brigadier Selmanovic.
