SARAJEVO, Feb 24 (Hina) - A new Bihac-bound convoy carrying 116
tonnes of food, left Zagreb today, UNPROFOR spokesman Kris Janowski
said.
If the convoy reaches its destination another four convoys
with 450 tonnes of food and medicines are expected to leave for the
Bihac-pocket in northeast Bosnia early next week, Janowski said.
Yesterday western Bosnian fronts were relatively quiet except
Velika Kladusa, which was the scene of clashes between the Bosnian
army 5th Corps and warlord Fikret Abdic troops, whose men were
continuing to help Serbs from occupied Croatia.
UN military observers yesterday counted 142 detonations five
kilometers east of Velika Kladusa, while 14 explosions were
registered around Bihac and five near Bosanska Krupa.
