BELGRADE, Jan 3 (Hina) - The International Conference on the Former
Yugoslavia (ICFY) Co-Chairmen, Lord David Owen and Thorvald
Stoltenberg, this afternoon met Serbia's President Slobodan
Milosevic and a leader of Croatian Serbs, Borislav Mikelic, in
Belgrade.
The ICFY Co-Chairmen informed Milosevic of the implementation
of the December 2 Economic Agreement between the Croatian
Government and Croatia's Serbs from UNPAs, according to a statement
from Milosevic's office.
Before today's talks Lord Owen told Belgrade-based B 92 Radio
that he was working on extending the Economic Agreement to issues
of water and oil.
He added that they had held talks on the Agreement with
Croatian Serb leaders Martic, Babic and Mikelic yesterday in Knin
(UNPA Sector South of Croatia).
Owen and Stoltenberg were expected to arrive in Zagreb late
this evening, according to unofficial statements.
