The Union demands the signing of a collective agreement for
the Croatian Railways (HZ), which would establish the price of
labour. It also demands respect for the rights of HZ employees set
by HZ labour relations by-laws, the solution of housing problems of
HZ employees and a long-standing and integral solution of the
situation in the Croatian Railways.
The Union will respect a decision on minimal functioning of
railway services - 20% of passenger and 20% of freight trains will
be running. The strikers' headquarters will consider a possible
increase in traffic for New Year holidays, said the Union's
president Zlatko Pavletic.
