GOVT. DRAFTS FINAL BILL ON BOUNDARIES OF COUNTIES, CITIES, MUNICIP

MUNICIP $ ALITIES ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Thursday drafted a final bill on boundaries of counties, cities, towns and municipalities in the Republic of Croatia, and forwarded it to the Parliament for the second reading, the Government's public relations office stated. The final bill included proposed territorial changes in line with views expressed at the June referendum. A law on boundaries of counties, cities and municipalities is the basis for adoption of a law on constituencies, that is being prepared. At Thursday's session the Government decided to appoint Goran Granic to be the Premier's advisor on strategy for developing power production and distribution. The Government also decided to relieve Zarko Grbcic of the duty of an assistant to the education and sports minister, and appoint Ivan Janes to this duty. (hina) jn mš 122033 MET dec 96
