SARAJEVO, Dec 10 (Hina) - Representatives of the Catholic Church in
Bosnia-Herzegovina are certain that an attack on two Catholic
priests in Sarajevo is the result of non-objective reporting by the
Bosnian Television and other Sarajevo media about events in western
(Croat-held) Mostar, Bosnian Catholic Press agency (KTA) said on
Tuesday.
An unidentified man attacked two priests in Sarajevo on Sunday
while they were getting out of a car with Herzeg-Bosnian license
plates.
The attacker had obviously known who he had attacked because
he kept crying, "Now you will see how a Moslem beats" and "Why do
you beat us in Mostar?," KTA said.
The Sarajevo police officially reported that the priests had
suffered light injuries and that the police were looking for the
perpetrators.
The Sarajevo media accused Croats for everything that happened
in Mostar, drawing hatred on one whole nation, the Arch-Bishop
Ordinariate held.
The Sarajevo Arch-Bishop Ordinariate informed the
international police about the attack and an international police
spokesman said that they were establishing facts.
