ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Maritime Affairs,
Transport and Communications, Zeljko Luzavec, and German Ambassador
Volker Haak met in Zagreb on Monday and signed an agreement
exempting road vehicles from paying road duties and tolls.
According to the agreement, Croatian carriers will not have to
pay visitors' taxes on motor vehicles while in Germany and German
hauliers will be exempt from paying road tolls which Croatia
charges on foreign vehicles.
The two officials said at the signing ceremony that the
agreement would contribute to the further promotion and
strengthening of relations between Croatia and Germany.
