The Jordanian UNTAES battalion on Friday withdrew from the
village.
The clearing of mines on all roads and 50 percent of houses in
Ceric is finished and the return of displaced persons to the
village is expected in late August of early September 1997.
The reconstruction of infrastructure will most probably begin
early next year.
