award for media freedom. The award was presented to the weekly's

The Media freedom award, as explained by the Feral Tribune
editorial board, is presented under the auspices of the
international organization and magazine "Index on Censorship".
We congratulate this year's winner, Feral Tribune, for the
courage and resolution it had shown in the defense of its
independence despite all difficulties, the "Index on Censorship"
said in a special exposition.
