CROATIAN RAILWAYS WAR VETERANS CONDEMN RAILMEN'S STRIKE

ZAGREB, Dec 1 (Hina) - The Croatian Railways ' association of Croatian Homeland War invalids and veterans, sent a letter to the Croatian Railway Workers' Union warning it that the four-day strike was causing great damage to the Railways HZ company and the entire Croatian economy. The HZ war invalids and veterans strongly condemned the strike and accused the strike organizers (the Railway Workers' Union leaders) of manipulating the union's members by not making available to them real reasons for the work stoppage. "You will have to pay off scores with your membership for all you have achieved for your personal interest and interest outside the Railways and even outside the Republic of Croatia," the association of the war veterans said in a letter sent to leaders of Railway Workers' Union, the only one out of nine unions in the HZ company that is on strike.
