CROATIAN RAILWAYS MANAGEMENT TALKS WITH STRIKERS' COMMITTEE

ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Railways management, Thursday said that they had held talks with representatives of the strikers main committee of the Croatian Railmen's Trade Union, because railmen had announced a general strike on November 28. The statement by the Croatian Railways management said that the negotiating committees would meet again on November 22, 1996 to hold talks. The Croatian Railways management believed that misunderstanding could be cleared up without calling strikes, as most of the trade unions' demands would be discussed soon in the Parliament.
