ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Mate Granic, on
Monday talked with Roman Catholic Bishop of Banja Luka Msgr. Franjo
Komarica.
Bishop Komarica delivered to Minister Granic his book 'To
Defend People Deprived of Their Rights' (unofficial translation of
the title 'U obrani obespravljenih'), which collects documents of
Bishop Komarica and the Banja Luka Bishop's office issued during
1991-1995 war years.
Bishop Komarica reiterated gratitude to the Republic of
Croatia for its efforts to protect Croats in the Banja Luka area
(northwestern Bosnia under Serb control) and for its efforts to
provide accommodation for refugees.
Granic told the Bishop that Croatia intended to open a
consulate general in Banja Luka and that one of chief duties of the
consulate would be the care for Croats in that area of Bosnia, said
a statement of the Croatian Foreign Ministry.
