CAVTAT, 25 Nov (Hina) - A congress entitled 'Konavle in the past,
today and in the future' started in Cavtat on Monday. #L#
The congress was organized with the aim of providing
assistance in the reconstruction of this war-damaged southern part
of Croatia, as well as giving directions for the future of the
area, said Ivana Burdjelez, head of the International Centre of
Croatian Universities (MSHS) in Dubrovnik.
The congress was organized by the Dubrovnik Institute for
Historical Studies of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences,
Zagreb University - MSHS from Dubrovnik, Konavle municipality and
Croatian Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO.
