ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament chairman Vlatko
Pavletic at Tuesday's news conference cited a Bill on Associations
and a Bill on the Privatization of Socially-Owned Resources of
Former Social-Political Organizations as especially important items
of the agenda of Wednesday's session of the Croatian Parliament
House of Representatives. #L#
Speaking about the latter, Pavletic stressed that the Bill
concerned over 500,000 metres squared of land and residential and
business premises.
It was suggested that the state become the owner at first and
then, according to criteria of the Parliament, the ownership would
be transferred to registered political parties, Pavletic said.
Out of the 15 items of the agenda, Pavletic cited the bills on
marking mass grave locations and amendments to the Law on courts of
law as important.
Announcing items which will be broadcast by the Croatian
television, Pavletic said that he had suggested the emission of the
items after a survey conducted among chairmen of Parliament
committees.
Asked why the draft resolution on solving the so-called Zagreb
crisis was not among the items to be broadcast, Pavletic said that
"most of Parliament committees did not mention this item in the
survey".
He added that the government was working intensively on
preparing a draft budget for the next year, which would, most
probably, be discussed at the next Parliament session.
