CRO PARLIAMENT DELEGATION VISITS XIAN

XIAN, Oct 30 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament chairman Vlatko Pavletic who is heading a Croatian Parliament delegation on a visit to China, on Wednesday arrived in Xian, the capital of the province of Shaanxi, and met with officials of the provincial National congress. During talks with the Shaanxi Parliament speaker Zhang Boxing and his associates, Pavletic described his talks with Chinese officials in Beijing as very useful. Boxing informed the Croatian delegation about the Shaanxi province which, with a population of 35 million and 200,000 squared kilometres, belongs to Chinese provinces of medium size. Boxing also informed the Croatian delegation about the situation in economy and the province's efforts to develop its economy as fast as possible, as well as about the role of the congress in the province's life.
