TUZLA, Oct 30 (Hina) - NATO-led international peace force in Bosnia
(IFOR) stepped up nighttime patrols in northern Bosnia, the IFOR
Sector North headquarters public relations office said Wednesday.
The patrols would be increased, as there had been about 100
explosions in a separation zone (in Sector North) between the Serb
entity and the Croat-Moslem Federation since the beginning of
September.
Those blasts destroyed houses where refugees were trying to
resettle.
Experts for clearing mines will be employed in and bomb dogs
will be used in night patrols the task of which is not only to find
out mines and explosive devices but also to apprehend persons
suspected of laying mines.
