Tudjman and Milutinovic discussed the implementation of the
Agreement on the Normalisation of Relations between Croatia and
Yugoslavia. Milutinovic informed Tudjman that the two countries
would soon sign several agreements which are to contribute to the
development of relations in all areas of mutual interest.
Tudjman said that Croatia could not accept the extension of
the UNTAES mandate for six or 12 months, because of the just
dissatisfaction of Croatia's displaced people and general public.
Croatia was willing to accept a 'three plus three' extension
at the most, as had been agreed upon with UN Transitional
Administrator Jacques Klein, Tudjman said.
Today's meeting between President Tudjman and Yugoslavia's
Foreign Minister was also attended by the President's Chief-Of-
Staff Ivo Sanader and Foreign Minister Mate Granic.
