ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale
shook southern Croatia at 17.01 hours on Sunday.
The epicentre of the quake was near the island of Mljet, 380 km
southeast of Zagreb, the Croatian Seismological Institute said.
The earthquake was felt in the wider Dubrovnik area and belonged to a
series of earthquakes which followed a disastrous one that had struck Ston
on September 5, the institute said.
The quake may have caused damage.
