ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Ivica
Kostovic and members of the government commission for missing
persons on Thursday informed the association of families of
missing persons "Vukovar Mothers" about the progress of
identification of bodies exhumed from the Ovcara mass grave.
After a closed-door meeting in Zagreb, Kostovic told
reporters that members of the "Vukovar Mothers" association
would be first to know the results of identification.
Kostovic stressed that Croatia did not have a
comprehensive list of missing persons and detainees on the
basis of which it could inform their families.
Cooperation with other associations would be intensified
in early December when Croatian experts were expected to take
over the identification of victims, he said.
Kostovic announced that a documentary film on the
exhumation of the Ovcara mass grave, made by a British
television crew, would be shown in February next year.
