visited the U.S. Navy vessel "Klarking" in the port of Dubrovnik.

After a tour of the ship, Galbraith said that this was the
first official visit of an American Navy vessel to independent
Croatia and expressed satisfaction that is had chosen to visit
Dubrovnik.
Susak said that this was a message that Croatia was on the
right track in its efforts to join the community of countries of
the free world in which America played the leading role.
"This is a sign of friendship between the Croatian and
American navies and also between America and Croatia," Susak said.
