This belonged to IFOR's regular tasks and was standard
procedure in all parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haselock said, adding
that IFOR continued to examine military activities in the Bosnian
Federation and the Serb entity.
Haselock stressed that an inspection of a Bosnian Serb
artillery headquarters had been carried out successfully near Han-
Pijesak on Tuesday.
Previous inspections in this area had caused tensions in the
relations between IFOR and the Bosnian Serbs because the Serbs had
tried to disable IFOR troops from accessing the facilities around
Han-Pijesak.
Haselock recalled that a list with 2,500 possible locations
for polling stations for the municipal elections had been drawn up
and handed over to the OSCE Mission for an evaluation and approval.
