ZAGREB, Oct 11 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives on Friday continued its 11th session with a debate
on a report on the execution of Croatia's government budget in the
first six months of this year.
A revenue of 15.2 billion kunas (about 4.3 billion German
marks) was realized in the first six months of this year's
government budget, which is 2.5 per cent more than planned.
The planned rates were exceeded by revenues from profit tax,
income tax, property tax and expenditure tax.
Revenue from turnover tax on goods and services, which
constitutes 40 per cent of total revenue, is four per cent lower
than expected.
Non-tax revenue amounts to a little over 727 million kunas
(about 208 million German marks), which is 33.8 per cent more than
planned. These are revenues from administration fees, other
property revenues, capital revenues and revenues from the sale of
state-owned flats and privatization.
A debate and declaration on a draft decision on the vote of no
confidence to the Croatian Government, proposed by representatives
of the Croatian Social-Liberal Party (HSLS), was postponed for the
12th session, parliament president Vlatko Pavletic said.
This item was yesterday postponed because HSLS representative
Vlado Gotovac, due to expose the draft decision, did not attend the
session.
