ZAGREB, Sept 25 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives continued its session on Wednesday morning with a
discussion on a bill regulating the rights of Croatian Homeland War
veterans.
The aim of this law is to systematize and adjust the rights of
disabled war veterans and other war victims. In line with a demand
by the Association of Croatian Homeland War Invalids (HVIDRA) and
under an agreement with the Defence Ministry, the government has
expanded these rights and even introduced some new ones, Deputy
Prime Minister Ljerka Mintas-Hodak.
Lower House deputies are still to work through 50 items on the
agenda.
