ZAGREB, 19 Sept (Hina) - Two events were organized for Croatian
businessmen within 'The Bavarian Week in Zagreb' on Thursday. The
first event happened in the Sheraton hotel where the Munich
International Fair was presented, and the second event took place
in the Croatian Chambers of Commerce where Croatian businessmen
could learn more about possibilities and legal frameworks for
cooperation with Bavaria.
Representatives of the Zagreb and Munich Fairs and the
Bavarian Centre for Cooperation in Management (OWZ Bayern) on
Thursday signed an agreement which will be the basis for some eight
to twelve seminars (to last some 40 days), which will be held in
Croatia and Bavaria in 1997. The seminars will focus on
professional improvement of Croatian businessmen in preparing and
organizing the participation of Croatian firms at future fairs.
The Munich Fair, which has 35 specialized shows and gathers
some 24,000 exhibitors and two million visitors every year, is to
open new exhibition sections in 1998, which will be occupied by
businessmen from Central and Eastern Europe.
