ZAGREB, Sept 11 (Hina) - Fikret Abdic, a controversial Bosnian
political figure, a very successful businessman and politician
before the war, founder of the failed West Bosnia autonomy during
the war, and president of the opposition Moslem Democratic National
Union party (DNZ) today, is to file suit to the International
Crimes Tribunal in the Hague against the president of Bosnia-
Herzegovina Alija Izetbegovic for war crimes.
Abdic announced this at a news conference in Zagreb, after the
police in Velika Kladusa, Abdic's former centre of power, had
forbidden his party to hold an election rally.
The DNZ election rally was prohibited by the Velika Kladusa
police with an explanation that they were not able to ensure order
and peace at the rally in time.
Asked to explain his announcement that he would file suit
against Izetbegovic to the International Crimes Tribunal in the
Hague, Abdic said, "Alija Izetbegovic ordered Atif Dudakovic to
lead 1,200 armed soldiers to Johovica and attack civilians".
