Msgr. Guilio Einaudi on Saturday uncovered a monument of Pope John
Paul II in front of many residents of the Croatian island of Brac
and Croatian President's envoy Croatian vice-premier Jure Radic.

The monument was uncovered on the 2nd anniversary of the
Pope's pastoral visit to Croatia and is a sign of great
thankfulness of the Croatian people for his friendship and the role
of Vatican in the recognition of Croatia.
Beside the parish church of Christ the King, a well was
constructed near the statue as a symbol of the spring of religious
faith and devotion of the Croatian people to the Holy See.
