ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - As part of a tied credit of the World Bank,
Croatian breeders will receive 650 goats from the French
Association of goat breeders this Autumn, a statement from the
Croatian Agriculture Ministry said.
This will be the second consignment of goats (558 goats out of
a total of 1840 have already been delivered) which breeders from
areas of special government care are to receive on interest-free
credit and five years' time of repayment with a one year grace
period.
The urgent loan of the World Bank to agriculture amounting to
19.7 million U.S. dollars has been realized since last year and so
far Croatian breeders have received 2940 in-calf heifers, 558
goats, 250 tractors with attachments, 124 motor cultivators, 15
boars and veterinary equipment and vehicles under the most
favourable financial terms, the statement said.
