OSIJEK, August 20 (Hina) - Heads of two Croatian and Yugoslav
transport companies, Stjepan Frigan of "Panturist" from Osijek and
Zoran Leontijevic and Milenko Radulovic of "Lasta" from Belgrade,
on Tuesday met in Osijek, said a statement from the Office of the
Osijek Prefect Branimir Glavas, who hosted the meeting.
In January 1994 the two companies signed a preliminary
contract on connecting Croatia and Yugoslavia via bus routes, and
today's meeting discussed details of a contract on the
establishment of a dozen routes which would primarily connect
Zagreb and Belgrade, but other parts of the two countries as well.
"As both heads of the two companies stressed, the first routes
could start in the autumn", the statement said.
