ZAGREB, 10 August (Hina) - Between 29 July and 8 August 136,553
citizens of B-H presently accomodated in Croatia registered at
78 regstration posts in this country to vote at the forthcoming
B-H elections, reported the OSCE ofice for BH elections in
Zagreb Saturday. After he had personally checked technical
standards and quality of the registration process, the OSCE
representative Tobias Wernle commended high organizational
capacity of the Government Office for Refugees and DPs, which
helped the National Committee carry out the registration in a
very short time. A temporary elections committee for B-H
elections has recently decided that B-H voters presently located
outside B-H will go to the polling stations at their respective
residences between 28 August and 3 September 1996. In due
course, the Croatian Government will inform B-H voters when
voting will be held on its soil. The countries with postal
ballot will have a week to organize voting. Given very good
organizational abilities of the National Coordination Committee,
voting at polling stations all over Croatia will be probably
held on two days, says a communiqué by the OSCE office.
