DUBROVNIK, July 11 (Hina) - Prime Ministers Zlatko Matesa of
Croatia and Hasan Muratovic of Bosnia-Herzegovina signed in
Dubrovnik on Thursday an agreement on water supply and a protocol
on the temporary application of an agreement abolishing visa
requirements for citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina residing in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
Before the signing ceremony, the two prime ministers and their
associates discussed a number of issues important for the
functioning of the two states and the implementation of the Dayton
peace accords.
Matesa said that the agreements so far signed were being
implemented favourably, adding that they agreed on ways of removing
obstacles to the implementation of economic agreements.
"We have agreed to establish a consortium to draw up projects
for infrastructure programmes agreed upon today," Matesa said.
The two sides agreed to establish air service between Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina as soon as possible, he said, adding that
the railway line between Sarajevo and the southern Croatian
Adriatic port of Ploce would be opened by the end of August.
"We also expect the signing of an agreement on
telecommunications and a very important agreement on property
relations," Matesa said.
Muratovic said that both sides were satisfied with the
implementation and functioning of the agreement so far concluded.
