MOSTAR, 10 July (Hina) - The president of the Mostar branch of the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mile Puljic,
on Wednesday stated that the Croat side in Mostar would not accept
results of the local elections, should the EU Administration in
Mostar publicize them in a decree.
Commenting on the request by the president of the Mostar
Election Commission, Reuf Zaimovic, that the EU Administration
publish final election results in a decree, Puljic said that such a
move would 'lead the EU Administration into the abyss of
lawlessness'.
'If the EU Administration fails to pass this test, legal
insecurity in historic Bosnian elections scheduled for September,
would increase as well', Puljic warned.
According to Puljic 'HDZ is not asking for any favours, it
just wants the election law to be respected'.
