ZAGREB, June 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Bishops' Conference started a
three-day session in Zagreb on Tuesday under the chairmanship of
its president, the Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Franjo Kuharic.
The session is attended by the papal nuncio to Croatia, Msgr.
Giulio Einaudi, the newly-appointed Bishop of Kotor, Montenegro,
Msgr. Ilija Janjic, the Bishop of Subotica, Serbia, Janos Penzes,
and the Bishop of Mostar, Ratko Peric.
The Conference will discuss, among other things, activities of
priests in the spirit of the program of spiritual renewal in
Croatia and important topics for public life of the Church,
including the role of chaplains in hospitals and prisons.
