BOSNIAN SERBS OBSTRUCT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT - IFOR

TUZLA, June 3 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs again violated the agreement on freedom of movement in Bosnia-Herzegovina, IFOR's public relations office in Tuzla said on Monday. Irate Serb civilians waylaid groups of Moslem and Croat refugees, preventing them from visiting their villages in the Serb entity, even though the visit was organised by UNHCR and IFOR and convoys were escorted by international officials. Two busfuls of Croat refugees currently accommodated in the Zepce municipality (central Bosnia) set out Sunday to visit the village of Ponjavci. They were waylaid by Serb civilians and made to leave the main road and drive to a nearby bridge. There they were harangued by another group of protesters who barred their way. The refugees then returned to Zepce. The Moslems who set out from Tesanj to visit their cemeteries in Gornji Pridel, Potocari and Sevarlije, met with an even less cordial welcome. The assembled crowd hailed them with stones, injuring 30 people and breaking a window, which prompted the Serb police to make an appearance on the scene.
