THRID VICTIM OF DOBOJ INCIDENT DIES IN HOSPITAL

SARAJEVO, May 2 (Hina) - A third victim of Monday's Serb attack on a group of Moslem refugees visiting their houses in the Doboj area, died on Wendesday in a Tuzla hospital, UN spokesman Alexander Ivanko said on Thursday. Bosnian Prime Minister Hasan Muratovic and the President of the Bosnian Serb Parliament, Momcilo Krajisnik, yesterday pledged to cooperate with the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the International Police and IFOR. "We firmly believe that the responsibility for this tragic incident lies with the Serbs," Ivanko said. In reaction against the suspension of refugee visits to the Serb entity, the Trnovo police superintendent (a town south of Sarajevo under the control of Federal forces) set up a checkpoint on the main road linking Pale and eastern Herzegovina. No vehicles with Serb licence plates are being allowed to use the road and the Trnovo police even threatened to cut all telephone lines crossing their area. Meanwhile, Pale minister in charge of refugees, Ljubisa Vladusic, refused to sign a document containing the ground rules for the return of refugees, according to UNCHR spokesman Chris Janowski. "This is contrary to the promise Krajisnik gave yesterday that the Serbs would ensure the freedom of movement and the return of refugees," Janowski said, adding that the Federation authorities had agreed in principle with the document, proposed by the UNHCR.
