Kostovic told the German delegation that "Croatia fully
supports the transitional administration, but also expects Europe
to participate more in the process of peaceful reintegration of
eastern Slavonia, Baranja and western Srijem".
The return of Serbs continued according to humanitarian
principles, Kostovic said, adding that a pilot programme provided
for the return of those Serbs who met all conditions necessary for
the return.
A protocol on the return of Bosnian refugees who have been
accommodated in Germany and Croatia should be signed between
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and
Germany, Kostovic told the German delegation.
The delegation, which included Georg Pfannenstein, Ulrich
Irmer and Hartmut Koschyk, fully supported the way in which Croatia
cooperated with the transitional administration in implementing the
process of peaceful reintegration, Kostovic said.
