ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - Croatia's foreign trade balance with
Spain has doubled in the last few years and continues to grow,
Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa said in Zagreb on Thursday
after meeting a delegation of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
"Spain was one of the first countries to open credit lines to
Croatia when others were not ready to do it," Matesa told reporters
after the meeting.
Matesa said that all preconditions had been created for
developing economic cooperation between Croatia and Spain in the
best possible way.
The Spanish delegation was headed by Adrian Pier, and the
talks also included Spanish Ambassador to Croatia Luis Fernandez de
la Pena and Croatian Economy Minister Davorin Stern.
