ZAGREB, Apr 19 (Hina) - Deputy EU Administrator of Mostar, Klaus
Metscher, today dismissed the accusations of corruption,
embezzlement and other financial shenanigans in the European Union
Administration, levelled by some world media.
"EU auditors found a few mistakes in our books - it seems that
some expenditures are not sufficiently documented," Metscher told a
press conference.
At the beginning, the Administration had to operate with cash
because there were no banks, he explained.
He announced that the new Administrator, Ricardo Peres Casado
would arrive on Sunday and would take up office on Monday morning.
Polling commissions were expected to decide next week whether
elections could be staged in May, Metscher said.
