SARAJEVO, Apr 8 (hina) - Full freedom of movement was being
restored in Bosnia-Herzegovina following the removal of unofficial
checkpoints, Implementation Force (IFOR) representatives in
Sarajevo said on Monday.
NATO soldiers removed about 40 unofficial checkpoints which
they considered jeopardised the freedom of movement, guaranteed by
the Dayton Agreement, IFOR spokesman Simon Haselock said.
IFOR patrols had the orders to remove any ckecpoints set up
without the consent of the international police force, Haselock
said.
