OSIJEK, March 22 (Hina) - Mothers and relatives of missing and
detained Croatian soldiers have on Friday, in the central Osijek
square, gathered several thousand signatures, with which people
supported a request that the truth be found out about the
whereabouts of missing and detained persons.
The president of the Association of relatives of missing and
detained Croatian soldiers, Stefica Krstic, had visited her house
in the occupied Baranja, accompanied by six other displaced women,
several days ago.
She said that the visit had given hope to displaced persons
that they would return to their homes. It had also given hope to
those searching for their missing loved ones, that the truth would
be found "no matter what the truth is," said Krstic.
