Zagreb, 12 March (Hina) - Today, Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko
Matesa and Belgian Foreign Minister Erik Derycke discussed in
Zagreb means for the development of economic cooperation.
"Belgian companies are quite interested in investing in Croatia,"
said the Belgian minister after the talks. He pointed to the
interest of Belgian banks to come to Croatia.
"That is very encouraging, because that way we can help Croatia in
the monetary sphere," said Derycke.
Prime Minister Matesa said Croatia and Belgium were especially
interested in economic cooperation, illustrating it with the
investment of the Belgian Interbrew into the Zagrebacka pivovara
brewery, one of the largest foreign investments in Croatia so far.
