SARAJEVO, March 11 (Hina) - Bosnian Croat policemen from Kiseljak
are to join Bosnian Federation police forces which are to take
control over the Sarajevo suburb of Ilidza tomorrow.
According to Kiseljak police superintendent Mladen Tolo,
Croats and Moslems have agreed that nine Croat policemen should
join the Federation police forces in Ilidza. They would wear blue
uniforms with the emblems normally worn by police officers in
Herzeg-Bosnia, with special Federal police insignia on their
sleeves.
The nine officers proposed by the Kiseljak police department
have already received credentials from the international police.
They are to enter Ilidza tomorrow together with Moslem policemen.
The ethnic structure of the police force which is to patrol
Ilidza has been established in accordance with the 1991 census, to
wit: 10 percent Croats, 43 percent Moslems and 37 percent Serbs.
