VITEZ, March 6 (Hina) - The Croat Defence Council (HVO) in the
central Bosnian town of Vitez on Wednesday called on Bosnian
Moslems "to end a dirty war againt the HVO and Croats."
A statement signed by HVO Vitez commander Brigadier Drago
Dragicevic said that the Bosnian Moslems were waging a special war
to humilitate the HVO and portray it as criminal.
The blocking of Croat enclaves in central Bosnia (Usora,
Vares), looting of civilian and military property, arrests,
harassment and killings of civilians and HVO members (Usora, Zepce,
Vares), ban on celebrating Catholic holidays (Vares), ban on the
return of refugees (Bugojno, Vares), frauds at illegal customs
points (Bugojno), presence of Mujaheddin forces (Zenica, Travnik,
Tesanj) are only some of more than a thousand violations of the
peace accords on establishing the Croat-Moslem Federation, the
statement said.
The HVO also drew attention to a war being waged by the
Bosnian Moslem media in contravention of all the priniciples and
objectives of the two nations forming the Federation and IFOR-
sponsored agreements.
