ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Monday sent a letter of condolence to his Israeli counterpart Ezer
Weizman.
"Deeply shaken by the latest terrorist attack in Jerusalem
which claimed nineteen lives, I would like to express the deepest
sympathy on behalf of the Croatian people and on my own behalf.
"In this moment of grief for you and the whole Israeli people,
the Croatian people express their solidarity in the struggle
against terrorism which is gaining momentum throughout the world in
attempts to achieve impermissible political goals by inhumane
means.
"I am confident that the Israeli people, despite this grave
assault, will remain committed to the peace process and faith in
peace," the letter said.
