MOSTAR, Feb 26 (Hina) - A joint Mostar police outpost, composed of
Croatian, Bosnian and West European (WEU) officers, along with
those from both parts of the town, started working Monday in the
Ero hotel.
The policemen gathered for their first meeting on Monday
morning to discuss their assignments and how to perform them.
Their main task would be to secure hotel Ero in which the
European administration for Mostar was located, they told
reporters.
The precinct would be working 24 hours, each shift comprising
10 policemen - two from Croatia, two from Bosnia, followed by
another two European ones and two from each half of the town. An
official interpreter would be also attached.
The Croatian policemen wear blue and the Bosnian policemen
green uniforms.
