OSIJEK, Feb 21 (Hina) - Osijek mayor Zlatko Kramaric on Wednesday
met the special adviser to the Council of Europe secretary general,
Michael Fluckinger, for talks on the process of peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian region.
Recalling that Osijek's three administrative units - Sarvas,
Tenja and Klisa - were still under Serb occupation, Kramaric said
he believed that Sarvas could become a model for a pilot project
for return of displaced persons.
"I believe we will have means of political pressure at our
disposal to step up the process of peaceful reintegration,"
Fluckinger said.
