ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - Experts with Croatian and Czech foreign
ministries met in Zagreb on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss
succession of the bilateral arrangements, inherited by the two
countries from former Czechoslovakia and former Yugoslavia, the
Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Croatian team was headed by chief legal adviser in the Foreign
Ministry, Ambassador Stanko Nick, and the Czech delegation by the
head of the Foreign Ministry's department for international law
Jaroslav Horak.
The experts have reconsidered the list of over 50 bilateral
contracts which had been effective prior to dissolution of the two
former federations.
The delegations have agreed to continue working on a new list
of those among the contracts which could remain mandatory for
Croatia and Czech Republic.
