HGK President Vidosevic greeted the Rumanian delegation,
stressing that after the arrival of peace to the region, Croatia
would improve the economic cooperation with Rumania. The signing of
an agreement on cooperation between the two chambers, scheduled for
today, would undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of that
cooperation, he said.
The opening of the Zagreb-Belgrade highway would intensify the
economic cooperation and peace-time conditions would step up the
completion of the ownership transformation of the Croatian
companies. This, Vidosevic said, would revive the Croatian market.
Mr Ghibutin said that the Rumanian Government did not
influence the functioning of the Rumanian Chamber of Trade and
Commerce. Ghibutin added he hoped that better traffic links between
Croatia and Rumania would improve the overall economic cooperation
between the two countries.
