INA REPRESENTATIVES GIVE STATEMENTS AFTER TALKS WITH JUGOPETROL

Autor:
ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - After today's meeting between representatives of the Croatian oil company INA and Serbian oil company 'Jugopetrol', which is the third meeting of representatives of the two companies, INA Supervisory Board head Hrvoje Sarinic and INA General Director Andrija Kojakovic gave short statements to the press. The first meeting between INA and 'Jugopetrol' delegations was held in Zagreb, while the second took place in Belgrade, in December 1995. 'At the first meeting we signed an agreement on trade and delivery of oil and oil products, and at today's meeting we discussed the ways and conditions for the implementation of that agreement', Sarinic said, adding the agreement was in the interest of Croatia's economy but most of all in the interest of the two companies which had entered negotiations. 'We have agreed today that along with oil and oil derivatives we would discuss other petrochemical products such as mineral fertilizers, activated carbon and our polymerization products', General Director Kojakovic said, adding the talks had also focused on the dynamics and other conditions of the realization of the agreement the two companies had signed earlier. Asked about INA's property on the territory of Serbia, the value of the agreement and ways of payment, Kojakovic shortly replied that the question of INA's property in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was a question of succession. The head of INA Supervisory Board, Hrvoje Sarinic, said that the value of the agreement was a matter of business policy and business secret. (hina) jn rm 191653 MET jan 96
