TUZLA, Jan 12 (Hina) - Eleven Russian aircraft of types IL-76 and IN-22 landed on the Tuzla airport of Dubrave on Friday carrying 137 Russian soldiers and some equipment, the public relations office of the IFOR Sector North-East
reported.

Tomorrow the Russian troops will travel to northeastern parts
of this sector, as they are to control areas from Brezovo Polje, an
eastern suburb of Brcko, to Karakaj, a northern suburb of Zvornik.
Another six Russian airplanes with about 500 troops are
expected to arrive in the coming days. Those troops will have a
task to find the most suitable location for the headquarters.
According to the US headquarters chief in the area, Colonel Robert
Gaylord, the Russian headquarters should be established until
January 19 when the implementation of the mandate begins. There
will be about 1500 Russian troops in Sector North-East.
